Schools, universities and non-profits: licences are free through our Free Pro programme — in any Software Tailor app open Settings → Subscription → Request Free Pro. Institutions planning campus-wide use, a curriculum or workshops can apply for an education partnership. Commercial terms above summarise the Partner Programme Terms you accept in the partner portal; the Programme Terms prevail.
How it works

Choose your partnership type and tell us about your organisation. Five minutes.
2Review
Referral and technology applications from business email addresses are approved automatically; others within two business days.
3Accept the terms
Sign in to the partner portal and accept the Programme Terms. OEM and distribution agreements are signed electronically.
4Start
Your demo, development or evaluation licences arrive by email, with the resource centre, samples, deal registration and a 30-minute onboarding call.

The product
- AI Server: OpenAI-compatible
/v1API (chat with streaming and tool calling, embeddings, images, speech, transcription, vision) served from the customer's hardware. - AI Gateway mode: one endpoint over several servers, with failover, load balancing, canary rollouts and Kubernetes autoscaling. Every running server or gateway node is one licence.
- Deploy on Windows, in Docker, or on Kubernetes with Helm; bring-your-own-licence offers on Microsoft and AWS Marketplace.
- AI Client, AI Admin Console and the AI apps, which discover a local AI Server automatically.

Questions partners ask
Is there an SDK?
The OpenAI-compatible API is the SDK surface: any OpenAI client library (Python, TypeScript, .NET, Go, Java) and frameworks built on it work unchanged. See API & clients.
Who holds the customer's licence?
The end customer, always — licensed by Software Tailor under our Terms of Service. You are recorded as partner of record, see the licence and its activations in the portal, and provide first-line support.
Do customer prompts or documents reach Software Tailor?
No. Self-hosted AI Server keeps inference on the customer's hardware. We handle only licensing, activation and account data.
Is it exclusive?
No. The programme is non-exclusive; registered deals are protected for 90 days under the deal registration policy.
